Looking for 2 Guys to Help Replace 55 Gal
I have a 55 Gal tank that is leaking. Yea, I've tried everything to fix the leak, including fully removing all the silicone in the corner where the pin-hole leak is, and replacing it. Helps for a while, but not a fix. It is a good 40+ years old.
Anyway, plan is to move most of the water, filtration, gravel and all the fish I can catch into a 40 gal I'll buy for my transition area. It's a rivertank so lots of places for fish to hide in and the rivertank insert is of course not made anymore (#$@%^@!!). Plan is for this to be in a few months (I have a good work-around in place that has all the dripping ending up in a bucket. But of course is at risk to fail and is of course FUGLY).
Then of course need to remove and discard the 55 Gal with the leak and move the new 55 Gal into it's place. This is the part I could really use 2 guys to do (including taking the old 55 gal away and discarding it). Let's just say my knees would be at high-risk of buckling in the middle of this, so not taking the risk.
I'm in Sandy Springs and all thoughts comments and any volunteers are welcome replies.

I know the feeling. I have been thinking about moving up from my 65 gallon freshwater tank to a 125 gallon replacement. The key word here is thinking about. The thinking becomes painful when the thought of moving all that stuff out of the old tank and then relocating the old tank and the weight of wet gravel. There’s obviously a need for a group of members to come together with a truck and a business plan to help members in our situation for fun and profit
