Dr. Albert Klee, Aquarium Hobby Legend, Passes Away
Without a doubt, the most prolific researcher and writer about the aquarium hobby, Dr. Albert Klee, passed away suddenly this past Saturday, August 13th, 2023. He was 96 years old.
Dr. Klee wrote profusely on many topics, but one dear to his heart was the history of the aquarium hobby.
He was a longtime member of the Aquarium Hobby Historical Society for many years before it developed a FaceBook presence. He posted many of his writings on the history of our hobby for free on his DropBox page, which can be accessed by members of the AHHS FaceBook group.
He was at one time editor of the famous magazine "The Aquarium", with having written many articles and published aquarium hobby related cartoons for years before taking the helm.
He will be missed, and I am glad to have been able to call him my friend.
