Introductions

Hi All, I am recently divorced and my ex husband would not let me get a fish tank. It was so sad I actually had one of those small plastic tanks with jelly fish that floated up and down. Well after a very traumatic separation I got my first fish tank. It was a 13 gallon on Jan 1st. Well beginner mistake I overloaded with too many fish and didn't cycle properly - lost some fish along the way but learned a lot. Then I upgraded to a 20 gallon and all those fish relocated to their new larger home. Things went very well with the move. So that tank has 1 Crown Tail Betta, 2 platys, 2 small bristlenose plecos, 3 mystery snails and just got some shrimp from the swap that may or may not still be in there.

After that I really wanted another Betta - and I wanted a tank in my bedroom. So I have a Fluval spec 5 gallon in there with a Betta. My dream at that time was a White Dumbo Betta but fell in love with another at Petsmart. He is a wonderful.

Well now guess what - I have a beautiful 13 gallon Aquatop Bow Front empty - well that is not right. So I started cycling - was not sure what I was going to get. Then a friend of mine called and said she had found a man for me. She felt so bad for me with my divorce - she actually got me a Sakura White Dumbo Eared Betta from Thailand!

I was so shocked and grateful to her. She got me my dream fish. This was one of the most kindest things anyone has ever done for me. He is now in my room also with 2 mystery snails and 6 albino Cory's.

I am currently cycling a new Fluval 15 and have a Galaxy Plakat (He is still in Thailand right now) on the way and want to get another 5gallon for Shrimp. This hobby is so rewarding, therapeutic, fun and relaxing.
