German Blue Ram
hey everyone! Have a singular German blue ram now, he’s free if anyone’s wanting to come grab it from riverdale!

I sure wish I'd known about this forum earlier! I've been into this hobby for a while, but due to circumstances, I can no longer invest the time or the money. This set up has been running for about 3 years.
-2 pearl danios (started with a large school and these two are still hanging in there)
-1 False Julii cory (also started with a school of these. I know they should have lived longer but they tended to compete for food. I also think I didn't provide enough hiding spots.)
-1 elephant/rabbit snail
-4 amano shrimp
-4 nerite snails (including one pumpkin snail)

Anyone have Rotalla "green", Rotalla "blood red" or Monte Carlo near Alpharetta or can bring some to the club meeting next week? Set up a new scape and some of my Tissue Culture came in bad so need some more to finish filling things out. Committed to these specific species/strains

Does any member have experience with the hygger 150W Submersible Aquarium Heater with Digital Temperature Controller, Mini Fish Tank Heater for 20–30 Gallon Tanks. I am disappointed with my Eheim Jager heaters bc they are difficult to calibrate.
Also, what are members recommendations for a good quality aquarium thermometer. The cheap $5 digital thermometers don't seem to last long and need frequent battery changes.
Thanks for your comments/suggestions.

I use JW Pet Fusion Smart Temp Aquarium Thermometers in all of my tanks. They are not digital nor "smart" LOL but they are flat against the glass for easy reading and held in place by a magnet. Some minor drawbacks: algae can grow on them over time and, if you have cats, they will be happy to knock the magnet off the glass from time to time.
